6th Workshop on Speech and Language Processing for Assistive Technologies

ACL Special Interest Group on Speech and Language Processing for Assistive Technologies

Instructions for presenters

This year we have 22 full papers and one system demonstration. To be able to fit all these presentations into one single day, we have to make the presentations shorter than usual.

All accepted talks will be 10 minutes, with no extra time for questions. Instead, questions, discussions and in-depth explanations can be made during the poster sessions.

This means that all presenters have to prepare a 10-minute talk, and a poster. (Exception: System demonstrators only have to prepare a poster).

The poster boards have size 100 cm wide by 140 cm tall. This means that you can fit an A0 portrait poster, or a 70x100 cm landscape poster on the board. (But not an A0 landscape poster).

The workshop will start 08:30 in the morning, and continue until ca 18:00 in the evening. Lunch and coffee is included in the registration fee. Please contact us if you cannot attend the whole workshop.

Camera-ready paper submission [passed]

Papers will be accepted on or before Monday 15 June, 2015, in PDF format, via the Easychair system which you can access here:

https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=slpat2015
  • Full papers should contain up to 6 pages of content, with 1–2 extra pages for references.
  • Demo papers should be up to 4 pages, including references.

All submissions should follow the INTERSPEECH 2015 formatting requirements. Style sheets for LaTeX, LibreOffice and Microsoft Word can be downloaded as a zip file (4.1MB).

Note that this is a single-blind review process, hence identifying information does not have to be omitted from submitted papers.

Also note that we are more liberal with regards to the number of pages, but this does not mean that your SLPAT submission has to be longer than a regular INTERSPEECH paper.
